Launched in 2015, Shoot for Peace began as a youth-led grassroots organization founded by Yasin Osman with the belief that art can offer different perspectives and build community. Our mission is community healing through art. Our mandate is to deliver high quality community programming that makes arts and arts opportunities accessible to underserved youth. Our vision is to launch a generation of artists and storytellers that are empowered by their identities and experiences, and prepared for professional and personal success. Over the past few years, we've successfully reached and served youth from all six boroughs of Toronto.

A VIsit From The Prime Minister

In 2021 we received special attention from government ofﬁcials including Prime Minister Trudeau who visited our studio and chose Shoot For Peace to be the location to give his year end interview. The Prime Minister expressed that SFP was one of his favourite youth programs and thanked us for our commitment to addressing critical community priorities.
